Humbug Mountain, six miles south of Port Orford, is a great area to hike. Hike the three mile trail to the top of the mountain, where miles and miles of ocean shoreline can be seen. Also, the Oregon Coast Trail winds down the south side of the mountain to a beach at Rocky Point. There are many indigenous plant species along the trail, including Oregon's native rhododendron.
